Historical towns, beautiful beaches and delicious local food, makes the islands of Hvar and Korcula popular among visitors of Croatia.
Travelling between these two islands is easy thanks to the many catamarans operating throughout the year (with more frequent service during the summer). KRILO operates several catamarans between Hvar Town and Korcula Old Town. During the summer months they offer 3 departures a day in both directions (the sailing time is 1 hour 25 minutes).
Passenger on this route can enjoy a pleasant ride onboard air-conditioned high-speed catamarans. During summer months, one of these catamarans stops in Prigradica (a small fisherman village situated in the northwest of Korcula island, not far from Blato and Vela Luka) before arriving to Korcula Town.
TP LINE operates daily catamaran service between Split and Dubrovnik with stops on the islands along the way. This modern high-speed catamaran is great for travelling between Hvar Town and Korcula Old Town with sailing time of 1 hour 25 minutes.
Catch this catamaran from Hvar Town at 10:45 a.m. and from Korcula Town at 5:40 p.m. This catamaran is great for island hopping, making the trips quick and comfortable.
JADROLINIJA offers several catamarans between Hvar Town and the island of Korcula. One of them is catamaran sailing daily between Split and Dubrovnik from June until mid-September.
You can easily reach Korcula from Hvar (or Hvar from Korcula) by this catamaran. Departure from Korcula Town at 9:15 a.m. and from Hvar Town is at 5:55 p.m. (the journey time is 1 hour 15 minutes).
Another Jadrolinija catamaran that runs all-year long connects Split with Hvar Town, Vela Luka (Korcula island) and Ubli (Lastovo island). It sails once a day with departure from Hvar Town in the afternoon hours and from Vela Luka in the early morning. The sailing time is 1 hour.
As mentioned above, there are no car ferries between the islands of Hvar and Korcula. The only solution for taking a car from Hvar to Korcula is to drive to Sucuraj on the eastern side of Hvar and from there take a car ferry to Drvenik, on the mainland (the journey time is only 35 minutes).
From there you should drive to the small town of Orebic (on the Peljesac Peninsula), and from there catch a car ferry to Domince, a small port close to Korcula Town (15 minutes crossing).
